My Digial Studio Samples of New York Trip

Good morning!  In honor of the current MDS (My Digital Studio) promotion I thought I would share a couple of examples that I have designed.  

These are a couple of pages of my trip to NYC to see my daughter Ashley when she was a college intern for Elle Magazine.  My sister Judy decided to meet me there and now it is an annual girls trip.  As you can see, this is a very simple layout with crisp clean lines.  MDS offers pre-determined layouts if you choose.  In this case that is what worked for me since I had a ton of pictures of the city without people in them.  It is also possible to start a page from scratch and add as many elements as you would like.

I guess you had to be there but ... it was hilarious to us.  I guess we were subway challenged at first. lol...

Wow!  Get this! I got a phone call from my daughter this morning to tell me that her wedding was published on  a national magazine's blog!  I was so happy for her.  She thought of so many little details to the day extra special.  One of them was the program that we made using Stampin Up!'s  My Digital Studio software.  Check it out!

Free Printable~Lucky Charm Bag Topper

Happy St. Patricks Day!!  

I wanted to hurry and get this out to you so that you would have time to use it.  I created this bag topper using My Digital Studio, Stampin Up! Digital Software program.  I am having so much fun using it for things other than scrapbook pages.  I saw the idea of the cereal in a bag on a Blog post by Paula Gilarde and thought how fun is that?  So, I immediately got to work with My Digital Studio to see if I could re-create it.  What do you think?  I could probably enhance it a little if I had more time (i.e. a subtle background) but I think it will do the trick.  I plan to give it to Abi in the morning.

Thinking that you all may not have time either, I decided to save it in a jpeg and offer it to you.  So, here you are.  I think you can just print it and cut it into 4 toppers that are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Then just fold them over the top of your bag and staple.

Wedding Menu Cards made from Stampin Up!'s My Digital Studio

 I really had a lot of fun designing these menu cards.  Ashley had told me that she wanted them to be round and look like a plate.  The tables at the reception were round and seated ten, so she wanted to place them on the plates.  (At least at one table so she could get a picture)  I used the digital Medallions Stamp set (called brushes in the software) and enlarged.  Then I used a round punch and layered that on top.  Next, I created the text on top of that.

Wedding Program Made From Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio

 Well, Ashley and Paul's wedding has come and gone so now I can share the incredible amount of tiny details that made their wedding so special.  What a difference they all made!  Just 2 days before, Ash had not made the decision whether we were going to write out the program on a large chalk board to display or print them.  That morning, she woke up mulling over an idea to print them with all different fonts and sizes and them decided to use these cute phrases.  Thank goodness for "My Digital Studio'!  We had already made the invitations using "Night of Navy" color so it just made sense to use the software that already has all of the Stampin Up! colors in it to coordinate.  We set the page up as an 8 1/2 x 11 and then centered the text boxes as 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  That way we would print two programs on 1 sheet of card-stock.  She and I both loved them and I hope you do too!

My Digital Studio ~ Water Bottle Label

I am really starting to see the advantage on having Stampin Up's Digital Software program.  I am using it for a lot more than just scrapbooking.  It uses Stampin Up's! exclusive designs and colors.

This is the design for the sheet of labels that I created (along with the Avery program) to put on water bottles to serve at Ashley's Bridal Shower.  Of course, that will not be the only beverage..hehe.
